Ingredients:

  • 2 oz smoked salmon

  • 1/2 ripe avocado

  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon capers

  • A pinch of lemon zest

  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Instructions:

    • Prepare the Bread: Toast the whole grain bread to your desired level of crispiness.

    • Spread Cream Cheese: If using, spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the toasted bread.

    • Add Avocado: Slice the avocado thinly or mash it with a fork. Spread evenly on the toast.
