Total Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 12 sliders

Ingredients

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

  • ¾ tsp paprika

  • ¾ tsp garlic powder

  • ¾ lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye, flank, or New York strip recommended)

  • ½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • ½ green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • ½ onion, thinly sliced

  • 12 oz Hawaiian rolls

  • 4 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 8 slices provolone cheese

  • 3 Tbsp mayonnaise

  • 2 tsp oil

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

Butter Spread Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  2. Prep the Ingredients: Thinly slice the beef, mushrooms, onions, and peppers.

  3. Cook the Beef: In a skillet, heat 1 tsp oil with 1 Tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sauté until almost fully cooked. Season with half of the prepared seasoning. Remove from the skillet and cover to keep warm.

  4. Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tsp oil and 1 Tbsp butter. Add the sliced peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Cook over medium heat until the vegetables are tender. Add the beef back into the skillet and season with the remaining seasoning, tossing to combine.

  5. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise, removing the tops. Place the bottoms in a casserole dish. Spread the mayonnaise evenly over the bottoms. Layer with the cooked beef and vegetable mixture, then top with provolone cheese slices. Place the tops of the rolls back on.

  6. Prepare the Butter Spread: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Generously brush the tops of the rolls with the mixture.

  7. Bake: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.

  8. Serve: Cut the sliders and serve warm. Enjoy!
