Instructions:

  • Mix Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine ½ cup of oats and 1 cup of Silk Protein Almond Milk. Stir in 2 teaspoons of Splenda Brown Sugar Blend and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Mix these ingredients well to ensure the oats are fully immersed in the almond milk and the sweetener and salt are evenly distributed.

  • Cook Oatmeal: Place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent the oats from sticking to the bottom of the pan and to promote even cooking.

  • Monitor Consistency: As the oatmeal cooks, watch for the mixture to thicken and the oats to become soft. This process should take about 5-7 minutes. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a little more almond milk to reach your desired texture.

  • Final Touches: Once the oatmeal has reached your preferred consistency, remove the pan from the heat. Let it sit for a minute or two; oatmeal will continue to thicken slightly as it cools.
